How did I miss this video? Ben Crane, Bud Cauley playing TPC Sawgrass at night. So fun! Someone needs to a do a charity night golf event with tour players. Who’s in?
Great work by EA Sports.
What other people may find in poetry or art museums, I find in the flight of a good drive.

Recently, I watched some old footage of professional golf from the 60′s and 70′s. It got me thinking about the art of playing golf and if it’s been lost on tour.
Pros today can go after every pin and take huge risks without much consequence. Sure, they might miss a cut or lose a tournament down the stretch but risk doesn’t usually outweigh reward. It pays to pin seek.
All they have to do is set fire to water once or twice a year and take home serious loot.
I’m not convinced this is bad, we get to see great heroics and tragedies but the artistry to playing shots seems to be going the way of the buffalo.
What do you think? Is there still an art to playing on tour?
